Is anyone buying this swine flu crap?

Swine flu! Makes the whole country shake to hear it. We're all gonna die. A lot like how we were all gonna die from avian flu, SARS, and Mad cow disease. Now no one even remembers those things. This is all a media fear-monger campaign. As soon as people stop reporting breaking news about no one dying we will all forget about it.

This is nothing more than a sad attempt to capitalize on peoples fears, tamiflu is sure making money off this, as are any companies who produce face masks. It's someones excuse to make money, always follow the money. Lest we forget that back in 1976 there was a swine flu scare, where one, one person died from the flu itself. The Government produced a vaccine that killed more people than the actual flu did. And now there are 331 cases in 11 countries; it's the end of days look out!

And the newest idea is that killing off pigs is going to stop this. Egypt plans of killing its pig population off, 350,000 pigs because of the name of the flu; wheres PETA when you need them? In fact, the government even changed the name of the virus to H1N1 influenza A in hopes to stop slaughtering of pigs; well, too late this is only going to be remembered as swine flu. 

The old adage "I'm from the government, I'm here to help" is sure ringing a bell here. Since when was the government a medical agency? What they need to do is stop reporting on this total non-sensical "outbreak" and do what it does best, although I'm not entirely sure what that is other than dole out ungodly amounts of money to people who don't want it, or need it.

But hey this is only one unimportant mans opinion on this flu, no one cares, but I'm telling you as soon as the major news companies stop reporting this no one will remember it.
